1. Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you use LectureSnap, we store the notes, files, and study sets you create so we can show them back to you across devices. If you continue as a guest, your data stays in your browser's local storage and is not sent to our servers.
2. How we use your data
We use your content to generate summaries, flashcards, and quizzes using AI models. We use your email to authenticate you and to send essential service messages. We do not sell your data and we do not use your study material to train public AI models.
3. AI processing
Content you upload is sent to our AI provider solely to generate your study set. Providers may temporarily process the content to deliver the response but do not retain it for training.
4. Data storage and security
Account data is stored on encrypted infrastructure with row-level access controls so only you can read your own study sets. We use industry-standard practices but no system is 100% secure.
5. Your rights
You can delete any study set from the Library. You can request full account deletion at any time by contacting us.
